MADISON HISLOP- STOESSEL is an up and coming writer/director from Magandjin (Brisbane, Australia.) Her creations juxtapose the cheerfully mundane aspects of everyday life with her unique and often disturbing take on the unnerving and taboo.

 

Since graduating from Griffith Film School, Madi has continued to refine her writing and directing style by experimenting with genre tropes and exploring ambitious narratives and characters. 

 

Her current creation Flesh Fruit premiered at Sydney Film Festival 2026 and will screen at the Melbourne International Film Festival in August 2026.
